Bishop Strachan was born to Godfrey & Deaconess Sheila Strachan and hails from a family which consist mainly of Pastors and ministers including his Grandfather Rev. George Strachan (deceased) who served as Senior Pastor of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Rolle Town Exuma.  Bishop Strachan is married to Elder Shoine Strachan and they have two sons Tevon and Terran Strachan.

At the age of 15 he answered the call of God on his life and was baptized at Zion East & Shirley Street.  Bishop Strachan served in many capacities such as, the praise team, Senior Choir, Usher Board, Sunday School Teacher, and Deacon.

Bishop Strachan has completed specialized training in theology at the Bahamas Baptist Community College, Teleios Theological Institute and SCMI School of Theology.  

Bishop Strachan is very active in North Abaco, Bahamas where he has partnered with persons in the community including other churches and schools.  He has served as President of the North Abaco Pastors Association from 2013 to 2016.  Under his leadership, NAPA Outreach Center was commissioned in Cedar Harbor where the elderly are fed throughout the community.
